You probably know that Valais has the highest peaks in Switzerland. But did you also know that Valais is called the water castle of Switzerland?
The 4-kilometer treasure hunt takes you through different parts of Bellwald. You start at the sports and leisure facilities, from there the journey takes you further into the village and back to the starting point.
Along the treasure hunt you will find numerous distractions. How good that the time is not stopped during the treasure hunt, so there is enough time for a game of mini golf in Gassen or a short stop in Cinema aB in the village. Hunger and thirst can be satisfied at a small kiosk near the starting point and destination.

Safety instructions and equipment:
Hiking equipment. Sun protection (cream and headgear). Snacks and drinks. Pencil to fill in the treasure map
Every Wednesday in summer there is a guided village tour of Bellwald, where you can learn even more about life in the old village center. During the regular village tours on Wednesdays you can visit the Ecomuseum on the village square. If you want to visit it at another time, you can get the key at the tourist office.
Parking is available under the Fürgangen-Bellwald cable car in the Basper parking lot.
By train to Brig. Then with the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn to Fürgangen-Bellwald. Then with the cable car to Bellwald.
