Ready for a little time travel? The treasure hunt in Bellwald takes you through the old village centre to ten stops that reveal something of life as it used to be in this mountain village.
You start at the Bellwald-Fürgangen cable car, equipped with the treasure map and the sheet of questions (available at the tourist office). From here, the 1.4-kilometre circuit leads via nine further stops through the old village centre of Bellwald to the tourist office. Passing the Eco Museum, the Bellwald cinema, old barns and the Irene-Hüs you learn a lot about how life used to be in the highest village of the Goms.

Every Wednesday in the summer there is a village tour through Bellwald, where you can learn even more about life in the old heart of the village.
