Once a year we introduce our bike park to a wider audience. On the first weekend in October, the annual Downhill Cup Race sees Bellwald fill up with over 370 racers, lots of coaches, mechanics and over 2000 spectators. For locals and guests alike this event is the absolute highlight in the quiet Goms summer! The Bellwald Downhill Cup stands for quality, good organisation and fun - even away from the track. Not without reason, it is also the most popular iXS Cup in the international field!

The enjoyment of the drivers, the countless spectators and the many regular sponsors ensures that we remain motivated to put passion and hard work into running the race year after year.

The racing series in Switzerland comprises four races at different venues, with the winners of the cup being determined in an overall ranking. The events are financially, legally and athletically independent. All races are held according to UCI regulations. The races are for both licensed riders and those for whom cycling is a hobby, and they aim especially to promote young riders. As usual, the season final takes the downhill team to the Goms holiday resort of Bellwald. Here, on this 2.2 km stretch, the participants can collect the last important points in the iXS Swiss Downhill Cup.

Thanks to the experience and competence of partners iXS, an excellent, trouble-free race is guaranteed.

The spectacular and technically interesting course, the good infrastructure and the optimally located finish area make Bellwald a crowning season finale for the iXS Swiss Downhill Cup with the maximum number of riders and spectators in the racing series.
