From Zurich, Bern, Basel, Geneva or Lausanne with the SBB via Visp to Brig. In Brig, change to the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn and take it to the Fürgangen-Bellwald stop. There you change to the Fürgangen cable car, which will take you directly to the centre of the village.
Please note that the Fürgangen cable car is undergoing maintenance work in the off-season.

If you want to send luggage to Bellwald, this is done to the mountain station of the Fürgangen-Bellwald cable car! The transport fee of 2.-, which was due for the transport from the valley station to the mountain station, does not apply. All you have to do is present the receipt at the mountain station and your luggage will be delivered to you by our colleagues there.

ErlebnisCard for several days

The "ErlebnisCard" offers exciting excursions in the Upper Valais, Disentis-Sedrun, the Andermatt holiday region and the Bernese Oberland. The 2-, 3- or 5-day pass is valid between Spiez, Interlaken, Montana, Leukerbad, Zermatt, Saas-Fee, Brig, Domodossola, Andermatt, Disentis and Chur. The days can be freely chosen within a month.

You enjoy free travel on the entire Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn,on the BLS trains Kandersteg - Brig - Domodossola, on the SBB line Brig - Salgesch, on all PostBus lines in the Upper Valais (pass travel Central Alps 50%), on the transport companies Leuk - Leukerbad and surroundings LLB, on the RegionAlps bus line Visp - Leuk.

In addition, there is a 50% discount on an almost unlimited range of railways (incl. Fürgangen Bellwald cable car), mountain railways (incl. Bellwad sports cableways), boats, sports, leisure and cultural facilities.

from Sion/Sitten:
After leaving the motorway in Sierre, stay on the cantonal road until Naters. Then you pass through Mörel, Unterdeisch, Lax and Fiesch. After 6 km turn left to Fürgangen. Drive through Fürgangen and follow the road to Bellwald.

from Bern:
Take the motorway in the direction of Kandersteg: Exit 19 Spiez/Faulensee. Follow the signs to the Kandersteg car transport. After the car transport, drive to Gampel/Steg. At the roundabout turn right towards Visp/Brig/Naters. Then drive through Naters, Mörel, Unterdeisch, Lax and Fiesch. After 6 km turn left to Fürgangen. Drive through Fürgangen and follow the road to Bellwald.

from Zürich:
Take the motorway in the direction of Gotthard. Then take the exit to the Furka Pass. You can either cross the Furka Pass (only in the summer months) or take the car train in Realp. You arrive in Oberwald. Continue until you cross the Mühlebach gallery. Then turn right towards Fürgangen. Drive through Fürgangen and follow the road to Bellwald.
