Freeride Bellwald
Leave your tracks in the deep snow off the secured piste. Ski safely and in a controlled manner on different slopes and know the relevant safety aspects.
Procedure:
We meet every Tuesday at 09:15 at the assembly point at the middle station.
After the equipment check, we start the morning with a short run-in. With specific exercises and taking into account the avalanche situation, we learn the correct handling of the avalanche transceiver and how to behave in the terrain.
Requirements
- Technique: Safe skiing on the slopes (red + most black slopes)
- Stamina: A 15-20 minute climb should not be a problem
- Fitness: A 15-20 minute ascent should not be a problem.
Information about the Tour:
- Duration: 3-4 hours
- Meeting point: Middle station assembly point
- End: Gassen meeting point
- Number of participants: 4 to a maximum of 6
- Service: Guided tour by a certified mountain guide
- Necessary equipment:
- Clothing appropriate to the weather
- Mountain railway ticket
- Wide skis; snowboard or splitboard
- Falls or snowshoes (for short ascents)
- Helmet, ski goggles
- Backpack
