In Bellwald wird jedes Jahr am 6. Dezember eine traditionelle Zeremonie zelebriert: Einheimische Männer versammeln sich gemäß einem alten Brauch, um mit ihren Trichjen (Kuhglocken) in einer Prozession durch das Dorf zu ziehen. Dies dient dazu, die bösen Geister zu vertreiben.
