Overview of all trails around Bellwald

Bike Park

Since 2006, young locals have made a dream come true with a lot of passion and commitment. What was initially dismissed as crazy and at best smiled at, today generates an indispensable customer segment that enlivens the entire station in summer. Bellwald has established itself beyond the country's borders with its bike park. The dream of yesteryear has become an integral part of Bellwald today.

The innovative spirit of the pioneering work back then is to be consistently continued today and in the future. Today, various interest groups work hand in hand to maintain, optimise and further develop the existing offer. This is to meet the demands of our bikers, but also of ourselves. Built up and maintained by the Upper Valais Downhill Club GAB, the maintenance and marketing has now been taken over by the Bike Park Bellwald Association.

As in the beginning, our downhill guests can look forward to an intensively maintained and safe track every day.

On the first weekend in October, the Upper Valais will once again be completely infected by the downhill virus! At the final round of the iXS Downhill Cup race series, we again expect 350 racers, many teams and cosy celebrations among friends. After training on Friday, the race weekend will really get underway!

Bike School

Beside the Kids Bike League, in which the children learn to bike in a playful way, offers the Snow and Bikeschool more coures: Trail Guiding, Ladies Only or Drive tecnique Coaching.

Skills Park

The new Skills Parc at the Holzer Sport and Gade Bar is perfect for Kids, this parc giving Kids the Chance to learn to drive over obstacles. Different Elements for e.x. Steps, double wave or rocker balance can be used for free. Important to know: While the training times from the Bikeschool, is the Parc reserved for the participants.

Pumptrack

With 600 square metres, the pump track in Bellwald is not only one of the largest, but also the first asphalt track in the Upper Valais.

Highlight: bumps, transfers, steep wall curves and a quadruple curve.

Spontaneous desire for a round on the pump track? You can rent your desired vehicle at the outdoor park. Use of the pump track is free of charge.

Stoneman Glaciara

4,700 metres in altitude, 27 billion tonnes of ice: the Stoneman Glaciara is Roland Stauder's new mountain bike experience in Switzerland.

The route leads over three balanced stages up to the Great Aletsch Glacier - the mightiest ice stream in the Alps - and back to Mörel. With almost 1,600 metres of altitude difference, the king's climb follows: an old military road leads steeply up to the 2451 m high Breithorn Pass. The descent into the Binntal follows. The route then continues along the Rhone towards Obergoms - through ancient, mystical village centres, along monuments steeped in history and inviting cafés.
