The ultimate high alpine enduro trail in Bellwald!

For adventurous mountain bikers looking for breathtaking views and boundless freedom in nature, the "Lord of the Rims" Enduro Trail is an absolute must!

The Enduro Trail is aimed at demanding mountain bikers who are looking for technical challenges. As part of the 2024 UCI Enduro World Cup, this trail not only offers spectacular views, but also unspoilt and rugged alpine landscapes. Flowing and fast sections alternate with more technically demanding rocky and rocky passages. Thanks to the skilful and creative integration of natural elements such as rocks and stones, the "Lord of the Rims" trail offers scope for different riding interpretations, such as jump and gap variations, inside and outside lines as well as uphill and downhill lines - in short, a wide range of riding fun!

Directions & Parking facilities

From Sion/Sitten:

After leaving the motorway in Sierre, stay on the cantonal road until Naters. Then drive through Mörel, Unterdeisch, Lax and Fiesch. After 6 km, turn left towards Fürgangen. Drive through Fürgangen and follow the road to Bellwald.

From Bern:

Take the motorway in the direction of Kandersteg: Exit 19 Spiez/Faulensee. Follow the signs to the Kandersteg car transport. After the car transport, drive to Gampel/Steg. At the roundabout, turn right towards Visp/Brig/Naters. Then drive through Naters, Mörel, Unterdeisch, Lax and Fiesch. After 6 km, turn left towards Fürgangen. Drive through Fürgangen and follow the road to Bellwald.

From Zurich:

Motorway direction Gotthard. Then take the exit to Furkapass. You can either cross the Furka Pass (only in the summer months) or take the car train in Realp. You will arrive in Oberwald. Continue until you cross the Mühlebach gallery. Then turn right towards Fürgangen. Drive through Fürgangen and follow the road to Bellwald.

All car parks in Bellwald are subject to a charge, with the exception of the Basper car park at the Fürgangen-Bellwald cable car mountain station, which is free of charge. The Basper car park is located in the lower part of the village. There is another car park in the immediate vicinity of the cable car valley station. Two large car parks are available here, both of which are subject to charges.
From Zurich, Bern, Basel, Geneva or Lausanne, take the SBB train via Visp to Brig. In Brig, change to the Matterhorn Gotthard Railway and take it to the Fürgangen-Bellwald stop. There you change to the Fürgangen cable car, which takes you directly to the village centre. From the village centre, a short walk uphill awaits you. Simply follow the signs in the direction of the sports field. This will take you to Holzer Sport within 10 minutes.

 

Please note that the Fürgangen cable car is undergoing maintenance work in the off-season.If you would like to send luggage to Bellwald, please do so to the top station of the Fürgangen-Bellwald cable car! The transport fee of 2.-, which was due for the transport from the valley station to the mountain station, does not apply. All you have to do is present the receipt at the mountain station and your luggage will be delivered to you by our colleagues there.
