Directions
The hike starts at Holzer Sport in Gassen, Bellwald and initially goes up a little towards Ried. From there, you follow the hiking trail signs towards the village and cross the village square with the beautiful church. When you arrive at the supermarket, keep right and follow the road until the next opportunity to turn right, which will bring you back into the village. Now simply follow the hiking trail signs towards the chairlift and you will return to your starting point.

From Sion/Sitten: After leaving the highway at Sierre, stay on the cantonal road until Naters. Then pass through Mörel, Unterdeisch, Lax, and Fiesch. After 6 km, turn left towards Fürgangen. Drive through Fürgangen and follow the road to Bellwald.
From Bern: Take the highway towards Kandersteg: Exit 19 Spiez/Faulensee. Follow the signs to the Kandersteg car shuttle. After the car shuttle, drive to Gampel/Steg. At the roundabout, turn right towards Visp/Brig/Naters. Then pass through Naters, Mörel, Unterdeisch, Lax, and Fiesch. After 6 km, turn left towards Fürgangen. Drive through Fürgangen and follow the road to Bellwald.
From Zurich: Highway towards Gotthard. Then take the exit to Furka Pass. You can either cross the Furka Pass (only in summer months) or take the car train at Realp. You will arrive at Oberwald. Continue driving until you go through the Mühlebach gallery. Then turn right towards Fürgangen. Drive through Fürgangen and follow the road to Bellwald.
Bellwald has two large parking lots.
The Basper parking lot is located at the bottom of the village. This parking lot is free of charge.
The second parking lot is near the valley station of the mountain railway. There are two large parking areas here, both of which are paid.
From Zurich, Bern, Basel, Geneva or Lausanne, take the SBB via Visp to Brig. In Brig, transfer to the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn and take it to the Fürgangen-Bellwald stop. There, change to the Fürgangen aerial cableway, which will take you directly to the village center. From the village center, a short uphill walk awaits you. Simply follow the signs towards the sports field. This will take you to Holzer Sport within 10 minutes.

The Mountain Drive – Dual / Hike is an all-terrain wheelchair capable of handling inclines of up to 30 percent.
Safety guidelines
The wheelchair travels at hiking speed up to a maximum of 6 km/h. It can be adjusted to the respective size of the users. Drivers can control the Multidrive themselves or companions or parents can do this.
