Arrival by Public Transport
From Zurich, Bern, Basel, Geneva, or Lausanne, take the SBB via Visp to Brig. In Brig, transfer to the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn and travel to the Fürgangen-Bellwald station. From there, take the Fürgangen aerial cableway, which will bring you directly to the village center. Please note that the Fürgangen aerial cableway undergoes maintenance work during the low season.
In winter, there is a ski bus that can take you from the village to the valley station.
Arrival by Car
From Sion (approx. 1 hour 20 minutes):
After leaving the highway at Sierre, continue on the cantonal road to Naters. Then drive through Mörel, Lax, and Fiesch. After 6 km, turn left in Fürgangen. Cross the railway tracks in Fürgangen and follow the road to Bellwald.
From Bern (approx. 2 hours 35 minutes):
Take the highway towards Kandersteg and exit at 19 Spiez/Faulensee. Follow the signs to the car shuttle train at Kandersteg. After the car shuttle, drive to Gampel/Steg. At the roundabout, turn right towards Visp/Brig/Naters. Then continue through Naters, Mörel, Lax, and Fiesch. After 6 km, turn left in Fürgangen. Cross the railway tracks in Fürgangen and follow the road to Bellwald.
From Zurich (approx. 2 hours 45 minutes):
Take the highway towards Gotthard. Then take the exit to Furka Pass. You can either cross the Furka Pass (only during summer months) or take the car shuttle train in Realp. You will arrive in Oberwald. Continue driving until you pass through the Mühlebach tunnel. Then turn right in Fürgangen. Cross the railway tracks in Fürgangen and follow the road to Bellwald.
Parking:
All parking lots in Bellwald are paid, except for the Basper parking lot below the upper station of the Fürgangen-Bellwald aerial cableway, which is free of charge. For an overview of all parking lots, visit parking.ch.

For holiday apartments with car access (public transport, pick-up jeep):

No luggage transport is available on Monday and Tuesday.
Advance booking is required at least 24 hours in advance.

The base rate per ride (maximum 20 minutes) is CHF 50.–, or CHF 40.– with the Bellwald guest card.
Each additional started 10 minutes will be charged CHF 20.–.
A surcharge of CHF 20.– applies for last-minute reservations.
Any effort required for loading and unloading luggage will be counted as transport time and charged accordingly. Please indicate this need when making your reservation.
Luggage transport is only available at the following locations:
The luggage must be ready for transport at the agreed times. Our staff are instructed to handle only the transport itself and will not carry the luggage into the apartment. At least one adult (no children) must be present during the luggage transport. The transport will be carried out as close to the chalet as possible but is only feasible under good snow and weather conditions. In cases of extreme weather or technical issues, cancellations or delays may occur at short notice. We ask for your understanding.
