Goms Bridge

Thanks to the connection between the MGB station in Fürgangen and the village of Mühlebach, hikers and bikers now have completely new opportunities. Opened in the summer of 2015, the "Goms Bridge" links the hiking areas of Bellwald and Ernen, as well as the Rottenweg and the Gommer Höhenweg. At the same time, it provides Bellwald with a connection to the cantonal cycling path from Gletsch to Lake Geneva, as well as a year-round link to the Binntal Landscape Park. The 280-meter-long and 1.40-meter-wide bridge is accessible year-round for hikers, wheelchair users, and cyclists.

Aspi-Titter

Suspension Bridge

Crossing the Aspi-Titter Suspension Bridge promises a rush of adrenaline: It is 160 meters long and spans the 120-meter-deep Weisswasser Gorge at the foot of the Fiescher Glacier. The bridge is the final missing piece of a continuous high-altitude hiking trail from the Gotthard region to the Lower Valais. Located in the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage site, it not only connects the two municipalities of Bellwald and Fieschertal but also links the Aletsch region with the Goms area. The bridge is open every year from July 1st to October 31st and is accessible on foot only.
