Safety guidelines

A multi-hour hike can bring surprises and be strenuous. Therefore, it is advisable to consider the following points:

  • The hike crosses a suspension bridge, so it is advisable to be free from dizziness and fear of heights. Do not overexert yourself.
  • Take regular breaks, about every 1 to 1½ hours and always whenever concentration begins to wane. Rest and refresh yourself with some drink and a small snack.
  • Regularly check your location and compare it with your schedule. This way, you can consider alternatives, shortcuts, or cancellations in time.
  • Turn back in time or seek shelter in bad weather. If thunderclouds gather, it is advisable to end the hike as quickly as possible.
  • Plan enough time and energy reserves for the ascent.
  • Let mountain bikers pass without obstructing them.
